Join us at Sarah’s Office from 6:00 – 8:00 PM to paint colourful banners for an upcoming rally to STOP the Viva Floating Gas Terminal in Corio Bay.

Banner Painting: It’ time to get creative, join local Artist Lauren Green for a two hour workshop and create your own slogan banner for an upcoming rally. Think paint, snacks, chats, sea animals and an all round colourful time. You will be given a pre-drawn poster to paint in which we hope for you to use at the upcoming Protest Picnic by Geelong Renewables Not Gas On Saturday, 30 November 2024, in Moorpanyal Park, North Shore, for a powerful community gathering in opposition to the Viva Energy Gas Import Terminal. 

Why are we taking action?

Viva Energy is planning to build a massive gas import terminal in Corio Bay and we do not want this project to go ahead. Viva recently released a Supplementary EES for public submissions, which has now closed. But – we don’t stop. We are calling on the local community to stand up against new coal and gas in Victoria, and to make the pledge to protect our beautiful bay.
