No Gas Terminal for Corio Bay

Viva Energy wants to build a massive gas import terminal in Corio Bay, near Geelong. This gas terminal will import fracked gas from other states and create a huge amount of emissions. At a time when the climate crisis is more urgent than ever, Labor should not be approving new gas and fossil fuel projects.

We can’t let this happen.

The local community, environment organisations, and the Greens, have been fighting this project tooth and nail at every stage. Now it’s back and we need your help.

This development would put our climate, environment and communities at risk. If approved, this gas import terminal will undermine Victoria’s efforts to phase out fossil gas.

Sign the petition to demand that the Labor Victorian Government reject the proposal for a gas terminal in Corio Bay once and for all.
